Berkeley County Schools will host a recruitment event on May 3, 2025, aimed at attracting individuals interested in service personnel roles within the district. The event will take place from 9 AM to 12 PM at 88 Harlan Springs Rd, Martinsburg, WV.

The recruitment day offers attendees the chance to engage in a hands-on experience, including a school bus test drive for those considering a position as a bus driver. The event also highlights opportunities for various other roles such as custodians, aides, and cooks.

Throughout the event, career information tables will be available where prospective applicants can inquire about current job openings. This includes new positions like third-grade classroom aides. Current employees will be present to discuss their experiences working within the district.

Participation in the bus test drive requires attendees to be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and appropriate footwear. Other service personnel positions require candidates to be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and able to pass a background check.

This recruitment event provides community members with an opportunity to explore potential careers in education support services.
