Congratulations have been extended to Orchard View Intermediate and Musselman Middle School for their achievements in the Intermediate and Middle School Battle of the Books, earning the title of County Champions for this year.

The event took place over the course of eight weeks. During this time, the students formed teams to tackle a 10-book reading list. Their strategy involved dividing the reading between team members to thoroughly understand and master the content. The competition featured complex questions designed to test their knowledge, but the students’ efforts, collaboration, and dedication were rewarded.

“We’re so proud of these young readers!” said an official statement regarding their achievement.

The competition showcased the students’ commitment to reading and learning, reflecting their ability to work together and handle challenging material effectively.
