There were 229 administrative, support, waste management and remediation services businesses in West Virginia that had between five and nine employees in 2016, according to County Business Patterns (CBP) statistics provided by the United States Census Bureau.

CBP data indicates that there are more establishments categorized as retail trade businesses with between five and nine employees in West Virginia than in any other category.
