Dawson's Home Center to give away American flags

Dawson's Home Center will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

West Virginia lost 703 soldiers in the Korean war and 497 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 99 Business Park Cir, Berkeley Springs will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Risinger-Stotler Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Dawson's Home Center while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Dawson's Home Center is located at 99 Business Park Cir, Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. This location is owned by G Omps, represented by Ryan Oldham and managed by David Omps.
