Kindergarten Story Hours!

Story hours are a great way to help your child prepare for kindergarten. Oldham County Community Early Childhood Council, Oldham County Public Library, and Metro United Way are partnering to offer story hours at three schools here in Oldham County - Crestwood Elementary, Centerfield Elementary, and La Grange Elementary. You can attend any of the three locations, depending on what weeks work best for you and your family. We can't wait to see our new kindergarten students next year!

Story Time sessions are bilingual Join the Oldham County Public Library and Oldham County Early Childhood Council for a special 3- week series of story times at your child's school. Get to know school staff and become comfortable in the school, while enjoying fun activities designed to help you and your child get ready for school and life-long success. These programs are for families with children ages 5 years and younger who are not currently enrolled in kindergarten. Story times are free, no registration is required. Guardians will need to bring a valid license or ID for entrance into the school.	Las sesiones de Story Time son bilingues Unase con La Biblioteca Publica del Condado de Oldham y el Consejo de La Primera lnfancia del Condado de Oldham para una serie especial de cuentos de 3 semanas en La escuela de su hijo. Conozca al personal de La escuela y sientase c6modo en La escuela, mientras disfruta de actividades divertidas disenadas para ayudarlo a usted y a su hijo a prepararse para La escuela y el exito de por vida. Estes programas son para familias con nines des anos o menos que actualmente no estan inscritos en kindergarten. Las horas de cuentos son gratuitas, no es necesario registrarse.
