 Junior guard Daniel McClain-Corley (Clinton, Md./Massanutten Military Academy) scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Shepherd (7-6, 4-3 PSAC) to a 57-50 win over Millersville (7-6, 4-3 PSAC) in PSAC men's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. 

McClain-Corley connected on 4-of-12 shots from the floor with a 4-of-7 effort from three-point range. He was 5-for-5 from the foul line. He also handed out a game-high four assists. 

Junior guard Phillip Jordan (Rockville, Md./St. Albans) and sophomore guard Aidan Hughley (York, Pa./York Suburban) each scored 10 points. Jordan added six boards and a pair of steals. Freshman forward Stefan Marcelle (Washington, D.C./Georgetown Prep) contributed seven points and tied McClain-Corley with a team-high seven rebounds. 

Justin Nwosu scored 11 points to lead the Marauders. Ryan Davis added nine points and a game-high 14 rebounds. 

Shepherd had a 30-25 lead at halftime. 

Millersville opened the second half on a 10-4 run to take a 35-34 lead with 16:34 remaining. Shepherd got a pair of free throws from Marcelle to take a 36-35 lead with 16:13 left and never looked back.

Shepherd connected on 35.3 percent (18-51) of its field goals with a 40.7 percent (11-27) performance from three-point range. The Rams drained 76.9 percent (10-13) of their free throws. 

Millersville shot 34.7 percent (17-49) from the floor with a 17.4 percent (4-23) effort from beyond the arc. The Marauders hit on 70.6 percent (12-17) of their free throws. 

Millersville had a 36-32 rebounding advantage. The Rams forced 11 turnovers and committed nine. 

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Mercyhurst for a 1:30 p.m. contest.
