 Lauren Pettis scored 20 points and Ariel Jones added 18 to lead Shippensburg (16-3, 11-2 PSAC) to a 92-52 win over Shepherd University (0-18, 0-13 PSAC) in PSAC women's basketball action at  Shippensburg on Wednesday night 

Sophomore guard/forward Sydney Bolles (Elkview, W.Va./Charleston Catholic) led the Rams with 11 points and eight rebounds. She connected on 5-of-12 field goals and was 1-of-2 from the foul line. 

Senior forward Cara Minor (Hundred, W.Va./North Marion) tossed in 10 points. Sophomore forward Theresha Miller (Landover, Md./DuVal/Alderson Broaddus) came off the bench to add six points and seven boards    

Erin Gibbons added 13 points for the Raiders. Treasure George recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. 

Shippensburg had a 49-25 advantage at halftime. 

Shepherd shot 31.1 percent (19-61) from the floor with a 15.4 percent (4-26) performance from beyond the arc for the game. The Rams hit on 66.7 percent (10-15) of their free throws. 

Shippensburg shot 47.8 percent (33-69) from the floor with a 40 percent (8-20) from three-point range. The Raiders shot 75 percent (18-24) from the foul line. 

Shippensburg had a 43-39 edge in rebounding. The Rams forced 11 turnovers and committed 19. 

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Kutztown for a 1 p.m. contest.
