82.3% of Morgan County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 17,144 citizens living in Morgan County in 2021, 82.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 14,104 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 7,169 were male, constituting 50.8%, and 6,935 were female, making up 49.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Morgan County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79.7%.
