Berkeley County Schools is continuing to spotlight students involved in its Work Exploration program. This initiative, which began in 2007 at Martinsburg High School, partners with local businesses to provide students with career learning opportunities and future job prospects.

The school district recently recognized four students for their participation: Keishaun Price, David Crosen, Shariff Williams, and Ronan Daly.

Keishaun Price from Musselman High School has been part of the program for two years. He has gained experience working at Food Lion, D&D Meats, and Cider Press Grill. At Cider Press, he learned the skills necessary to be a waiter. Berkeley County Schools noted his dedication: “He always takes his work seriously and tries his best to do the tasks at each job right the first time.”

David Crosen is a junior at Hedgesville High School who has worked at Jersey Mike’s and Dunkin’ Donuts over the past two years. Known for his positive personality, he also works seasonally at Old Navy assisting customers.

Shariff Williams from Martinsburg High School has experience working at Tractor Supply and on a construction site. His reliability is highlighted by Berkeley County Schools: “Shariff is always willing to do whatever is asked of him.”

Ronan Daly from Spring Mills High School is in his first year of the program and works at McDonald’s in Spring Mills. His dedication and positive attitude have made a strong impression during his initial year.

The Work Exploration program continues to grow, providing valuable experiences for students across Berkeley County.
