Brianna Niewodowski, an 8th-grade teacher at Mountain Ridge Middle School, has been recognized as the January recipient of the A Caring Educator (ACE) Award. Known for her leadership and mentorship, Ms. Niewodowski sets high standards for her students in academics, behavior, and citizenship.
Her students appreciate her positive attitude and energy in the classroom. An example of her commitment to creating meaningful experiences occurred when she paused a lesson so that her class could share in the moment when a mentee from Kenya saw snow for the first time.
