Maria Menocal has been recognized as the GEM of the Week for her dedicated service in supporting non-English-speaking Hispanic students and their families. Her efforts have been highlighted by Mrs. Williams, who stated, "For many years, I have had the privilege of working with and observing Mrs. Menocal translate for and support our non-English-speaking Hispanic students and their families, both in and out of school. She has been an invaluable advocate, bridging cultural nuances for our non-English speaking Hispanic families and educating staff members. She is truly a GEM in her advocacy efforts."
