On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Jefferson High School standout Shelby Harris’ current college team, the West Liberty Hilltoppers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.

The game took place at McCrorie Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Hilltoppers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Tampa Spartans.
