Please join in recognizing Heather Nowell for her achievement as the G.E.M. of the Week. Miss Nowell's dedication to her students is evident through her personal engagement and high standards.

"Miss Nowell genuinely cares for her students, and it shows! She makes every effort to get to know them personally, ensuring they know they are more than just a number. My own children speak so highly of her. She sets high expectations and holds them accountable while also making them feel valued, safe, and loved. She is the kind of person who reaches out when a student isn't themselves because she truly cares and wants to help every student be their best. We are blessed to have Miss Nowell as our Band Director at SMS!" said Mrs. Elliot.
