Musselman High School's Choral Department is organizing the Snow Globe Festival this weekend. The event, aimed at raising funds for the Kaleidoscope Show Choir's participation in the Show Choir Nationals, will be held at Musselman High School on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m.

James Miller, the choral director, emphasized the festival's role in fostering community engagement through music. "What I love, as a choral director, is just giving the students the chance to sing," Miller stated. He highlighted how the choir finds unique ways to positively impact the community beyond traditional performances.

The festival will commence with a choir performance followed by a meal and various games and activities in the school cafeteria. Choir students have organized these stations and will lead them during the event. Attendees can also expect visits from special holiday guests.

Alexander Thomas, dance captain for the choir and a senior at Musselman High School, expressed his enthusiasm for performing and engaging with attendees. "It really lifts the holiday spirit," Thomas remarked about the event's atmosphere.

Tickets are priced at $15 in advance or $20 at the door, with proceeds benefiting Musselman's Choral Department. Further details can be found on their Facebook page.
